Cleveland, Ohio – September 8, 2014—Chris W. Manley, President of Graphco, considers his firm’s two recent installations of Horizon finishing equipment at Heeter (Canonsburg, PA) a tremendous opportunity for both organizations. “We’re delighted to be part of Heeter’s continued growth and innovative approach to their direct marketing and fulfillment market’, reflects Manley.  “And for Scott Heeter and his team, this move allows them to continue to offer affordable yet innovative solutions to their key customers in the broad range of industries they serve.”

Scott Heeter concurs, and adds “Our corporate philosophy focuses on innovative thinking, industry expertise and unparalleled service and the Graphco sales and technical support team mirrored that approach with precise technical demonstrations to prove the immediate value and return on our investment that these two Horizon systems would bring. It was both a technology decision and a wise business decision as well.”

For large volume package inserts or small, more intricate fold applications, Heeter Direct will now be offering their customers faster turnaround and larger volume runs from the most versatile, high-speed, fully automated cross paper folder in the industry; the Horizon AFC 566 FG.  “Our folder operators love the speed and easy set up on the Horizon folder,” states Heeter.

Another new addition, the Horizon StitchLiner 5500 system offers Heeter’s customers access to a flexible, fully-integrated saddle-binding solution for both digital and offset applications, utilizing the latest in 2D bar code matching for full-data integrity and outstanding quality.  The ability to process booklets from either digital or offset output was key for Heeter, and timely shipments of short-to-medium run saddle-binding will be enhanced as the new system produces finished booklets at speeds up to 5,500 BPH with very fast set up.

Among other projects, Heeter will use this new equipment to produce VDP (Variable Data Printing) printed books with variable page counts usually between 40 and 56 pages. These books will feature prepopulated names and addresses, geocoded listings specially selected for individual recipients, verified form accuracy and 100% mailing delivery.

Scott Heeter credits his company’s tremendous growth over the last 5 years (while many printers have been shrinking) to very aggressive sales and marketing of his firm’s services, attracting talented professionals to fill key roles in the company and also a willingness to make aggressive strategic investment in the latest technology from key vendors.  “All of us here at Graphco feel fortunate that our technology has been embraced by Heeter, a clear leader in the print industry.” adds Manley.
