Former Exec of The Hennegan Co., an RR Donnelley Co., Joins Graphco Sales Team
Gary Greis
CLEVELAND — June 20, 2016 — Graphco is pleased to announce that Gary Greis has joined the Graphco sales team effective June 1, 2016. Greis will have dual roles including National Sales Manager for Inpro Grand Format Cutters and Territory Sales Manager offering the full line of industry leading Graphco print and finishing solutions. “The management, process and production expertise that Gary brings to Graphco customers will continue to set our recommendations apart from other equipment providers,” states Chris Manley, Graphco President.
As VP of Operations at The Hennegan Co., an RR Donnelley Co., Greis’s expertise in all facets of sheetfed, digital, grand-format and web printing helped Hennegan build its national reputation for award winning printing. “From the day Bob Ott Jr. hired me to run the Hennegan prepress department through the exciting leadership roles I’ve held during my tenure at the company, my goal has always been to add value to our customer relationships.” comments Greis. “I will take the same approach to working with Graphco customers locally and nationwide. It’s exciting to have such a dynamic and comprehensive product line to offer our customers. From the RGMT Offset Press line-up to the full suite of Horizon finishing solutions and our many other products we can improve a customer’s productivity and bottom line in so many ways.”
With a vast background in production management, process control and as a nationally recognized color management expert, Greis’s expertise brings a tremendous value-added component to Graphco’s customer relationships. Greis continues, “The discriminating customer base that we served (jewelry, automotive, fashion and retail) had the highest standards for quality, timely production and of course cost so I’m keenly aware of the challenges printers face. I’m excited to approach our customer’s production challenges with my years of know-how and Graphco’s tool box of production solutions.”
Manley also adds, “The offset production, color management and finishing experience that Gary brings to our customers is a huge advantage, but I’m particularly excited that Gary will head our national Inpro Grand Format Cutter program.”
Greis also comments, “Having built a Grand Format department myself, I know that high-speed cutting is the critical next step to fully profiting from the big investment in high-speed ink-jet printers. In the world I come from, if you can’t cut the job in time you won’t get the order.”
Greis joined The Hennegan Co. in 2001 and was promoted to VP of Operations in 2013 where he led the overall operations of the sheetfed, heat-set web, digital, grand-format, mailing and fulfillment departments. “With the help of a strong team, we faced the daily challenges common to commercial print in today’s world. I look forward to helping Graphco customers contend with these challenges by sharing my experience and recommending the right solutions,” Greis adds. “As the climate for print continues to improve, the opportunities for our customers to grow and prosper are tremendous.”
